That's correct. If you really want to confuse someone you can also use a very old expression and call it 3" scale which is the fraction of 12". I think this came out of the train world.... I drift the thread.

So do we have a CD and some dates yet to propose at the next meeting?

I think this is a great idea.

I am up for it!!! I will make sure not to get married/shot/family member passing away/or work that week end! So I guess count me in! Might have a source for the meals if the gentleman who has helped in the past is not able to come threw!

Since Andy has already stated that he would only like to due the Helicopter (I hope I am using the correct word!) event and he has also been a CD for many other events. Can another CD take over even if they don't belong to our club?

Andy,
BTW thanks for all the effort you have put into organizing the events you have been a CD for!

You're welcome.

Any CD can fill out the event sanction and run the event, however they are representing the club so ideally they would be a member but its not a requirement.

Any thoughts about maybe this being a charity event. I think it would be nice to see us do a charity event! Anyone else have any thoughts about this?

AMA has some programs that if the club ends up in the paper or on TV supporting a charity and the like, you get a monitary award (I think its like 400 bucks) as a grant from the AMA.

Andy,
Thanks for the info! Would be cool to be recognized for holding an event for a great cause! Heck and they reward us back! Man that's a double wammy!
